The adepts of naturism are more and more in Portugal. At times, there is nothing more liberating than entering the sea as we see the world. You just want to have a tan without bikini marks… Know what is your reason for practicing nudism, there are no shortage of nudism beaches in Portugal for you to do. First of all, it is convenient to differentiate between official and non-official nudism beaches.
The official beaches are the first 9 of this list that we elaborate and spread a little throughout the country. Some of the nudism beaches are not official. These beaches, although not licensed, provide an ideal environment for the practice of nudism and, in general, the rest of the people are allowed to do so.
As in all cases, be aware of the possibility of the existence of “voyeurs” in these nudism beaches, or seja, no nudists who hardly move these places to observe the naturists. These are the best nudism beaches in Portugal (divided between official and non-official).
1. Praia da Ilha de Tavira (official)
It is not far from this island of Tavira, and access to the local area is by boat, from cais de Tavira or das Quatro-Águas. In the beach area, you will find several tourist facilities and non-area bars, as well as infrastructures for the practice of nautical activities or for walks along the Formosa River.
2. Praia das Adegas (official)

You will find a small school, at Sul da praia de Odeceixe. At the low sea, it is accessible by the areal from Vizinha Beach, and, at the high sea, the only access is through the pedestrian path, which descends to Falésia. This road will lead to the parking lot that serves both areas, next to the lookout point at the top of Falésia.
3. Praia dos Alteirinhos (official)

This nudism beach has a parking lot at the top of Falésia, the starting point for the access to the area. A beach does not have infrastructures and it has not been possible to maintain its jungle state, or that gives it a unique beauty, the imposing falsehood that outlines and the rocks that appear and disappear second by sea.
4. Praia do Meco (official)

They have an extensive area and various support infrastructures, close to the main point of access to the area. I have more affronted areas, perfect for the practice of naturism. In 2013, a sculpture allusive to Xávega art was installed at the entrance of the beach, honoring the fishing activity practiced for many years by the region’s inhabitants.
5. Praia do Salto (official)

This is one of the smallest and most beautiful beaches of the Costa Vicentina, with access to the area through a narrow road, but in a good state of conservation. This oasis for naturists has a water base of twelve, which runs from Falésia, and access steps. Na maré baixa, you can access praia da Cerca Nova.
6. Praia da Bela Vista (official)

The naturist area is located between 400 meters from Sul da Praia da Bela vista and 700 meters from Norte da Praia da Fonte da Telha. A beach is enveloped by hills and fine sand. It is not a very familiar beach, due to the frequency of onlookers, who hide above all in dunes and bushes.
7. Praia da Adiça (official)

It is also known as Praia da NATO, since it is very close to the NATO military base (also, you will have to park a few meters before the entrance to the base). Don’t be scared by the military warnings, since the trilho outlines the vedação pela direita without anyone on the risk and without infringing the law.
8. Praia da Barreta (official)

It is located on the Deserta Island, there are no buildings and it is not very frequented. Or access by sea, from Cais da Porta Nova. O areal tem an area destined to naturism practice. From the embarkation point, a circular and very interesting environmental route begins, which begins on the Ria side and ends on the beach side.
9. Praia do Homem Nu (official)

At the western end of the Ilha de Tavira, which extends over 4 kilometers, is an area of great beauty, which has been maintained in a more unspoiled state. At the beach we do not have support equipment for users without surveillance. The space has been popular with the gay and bisexual community for several decades.
10. Praia da Murração (unofficial)

They have great natural beauty and are rarely frequented. It is one of the few Algarve beaches in which the vegetation extends practically to the sea. Or access by a dirt road and loose stones, since some portions are difficult. For this reason, we recommend that only all-terrain vehicles be used.
11. Praia da Fonte da Telha (unofficial)

They have an extensive area, from where you can see the imposing fossil above, a protected landscape area. It has a wide range of bars and restaurants, parking and surveillance. It is a very popular space for nautical sports practitioners, being especially popular with surfers.
12. Praia das Furnas (unofficial)

I have an acolhedor areal, surrounded by imposing hills and clear waters. The enveloping vegetation invites you to a pleasant walk, since in the end you can cool off in the sea. It is popular among naturism adepts, since it is a rather modest space and less frequented than the vizinha beaches.
13. Praia do Beliche (unofficial)

This sheltered beach seems to have been excavated from the tall falésias that surround it, and that gives it a different touch to the local. To reach the area, you will have to descend a long stone staircase, with a unique view for Falésias. In the area, there are various rocky formations with strange formats, which seem to have been sculpted by Homem.
14. Praia da Bordeira (unofficial)

This beach, quiet, with a great natural beauty and little frequented, has become more and more popular among the adepts of naturism. The access to the local is relatively easy, being taken by road at the North top of the local. Continuing along a path depois da part alcatroada, you will go to chegar ao topo Sul desta praia.
15. Praia da Cova Gala (unofficial)

The South zone of this beach is little frequented and very modest, being surrounded by dunes and Matagal, and being therefore very frequented by naturists. For its time, the North zone is close to habitações and is very visited. The beach is divided by four pontoons, which shelter the wind and the strongest waves.
16. Praia Dezanove (unofficial)

It has an extensive area, with about 1.1 km, and is located within the territory of the Protected Landscape of the Upper Fossil of the Costa da Caparica. In addition to being popular for the practice of nudism, Dezanove beach is also the main gay beach in our country, being much sought after by tourists.
