Pulay Redang is the name of an island that also gives its name to a Marine Park (Pulau Redang Marine Park), in reality a large archipelago dotted with numerous islands and rocky promontories in a turquoise sea. White sand beaches, gently sloping, crystal clear waters dotted with rocky promontories, bordered by palm trees are the formula for an idyllic place. To enter the area, you have to pay an entrance and authorization for five days, which means a ticket to paradise by the sea and completely isolated from mass tourism, but also the option to discover a wonder below the water level, where the surprises are not minor:

To get to the redang islandone of the largest on the Malaysian coast, you have to arrive from merang either Kuala Terengganu through boats, although there is a small airport on the island. Not far away are the perhentian islands, which we include in the selection of images due to the similarity of the landscape typology and because they are also part of the protected area of the park. The islands Perenhentian they are even more reclusive and quiet. The only way to get there is from the fishing villages of Kuala Besut Y Tok Bali, precisely through fishing boats or speedboats. In the entire park area, fishing, coral collecting (obviously) are prohibited. Especially thanks to the low population in the place, it has been preserved as an intact paradise where marine fauna is sheltered and abundant to be observed.
About the perhentian islands there is a very complete post and travel report on the blog asiaside
